Staatsolie Bond 2025 - 2033
In 2025, Staatsolie successfully issued the Staatsolie Bond 2025-2033 to finance the GranMorgu project and contribute to Suriname's energy future. Subscription for this bond closed in February 2025, and it is no longer available for purchase. The bond runs through 2033.
The Staatsolie Bond 2025-2033 was issued in partnership with De Surinaamsche Bank N.V. as arranger, offering investors the opportunity to participate directly in Suriname's energy growth and the development of the GranMorgu project. Subscription took place from 3 to 25 February 2025, with allocation on 10 March and the payment period running from 10 to 18 March 2025.
The bond was offered in denominations of USD 100, EUR 100, and USD 30,000, with an interest rate of 7.75% for USD and 7.25% for EUR holdings, running through 2033.
While the subscription period has closed and no new bonds are currently available for purchase, the bond remains active until its maturity in 2033. Existing bondholders can find all relevant information, including the prospectus and brochure on the dedicated bond website.
